Cambodia News (Banteay Meanchey): On 26 April 2023, the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Gendarmerie sent a Thai suspect to the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Prosecutor's Office for interrogation and further legal action in connection with a drug trafficking case in front of MEXCLUB Club in Poipet City, where the Thai man was arrested by the military police on 25 April 2023. He was carrying a bag containing 164 doses of methamphetamine to sell to customers at the club.

According to the report of the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Gendarmerie, the suspect is identified as 23 year old Thai national, Settawoot lamanee, alias Tak, who works as an online gambling employee in Poipet, and was living in a rented room there.

After the arrest, the military police confiscated exhibits including: 164 packs of meth weighing 191.2 grams - 1 mobile phone (black IPHONE 13Pro) - 10,000 baht (ten thousand baht) Baht), - USD 300, - 1 white IWATCH, - 1 book, - 1 Thai soldier card, - 1 paper bag for drugs.

The suspect is currently being interrogated at the Banteay Meanchey Provincial Prosecutor's Office.
