Hope everyone had a Happy Khmer New Year 2023!
We found a Khmer pagoda in the US to go to this past weekend to celebrate the Khmer New Year, and I just had to share these pics of the fam. Daughter is almost a year old now!! Unbelievable how fast this time has gone by.

Re: Hope everyone had a Happy Khmer New Year 2023!
We went to a pub in Manchester for a get together that was organized by the owner of Kambuja Marple restaurant in Stockport. There were roughly 10-15 Khmer people as well as a few Thais. I usually hate stuff like that but actually had a really cool time and met some very interesting people. Not posting the photos as I didn't ask for anyone's permission to do so.

Re: Hope everyone had a Happy Khmer New Year 2023!
I had no money other than 500 riel.
Walked 10 km to a village I have friends in and did the water thing.
A guy bought me a beer and I won a dollar.
The next one won a free beer.
The next, another free beer.
The next, another free beer.
The next 10,000 riel.
The next 5,000 riel.
The next a free beer.
The next 10,000 riel.
Next two lost.
Spent a couple bucks on food and water.
Had a great time over two days.
In total, had ten beers for free and left 3$ ahead.
Cambodia beer.
