Phnom Penh locations for SEA Games football match live broadcast revealed

Phnom Penh Capital Administration has published a list of locations where the public will be able to view live broadcasts of the Cambodian football team at the forthcoming SEA games

The following locations will host live broadcast of the matches involving the Cambodian national team in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games from April 29 to May 16, 2023

1-Garden in front of Wat Botum Vatey in Sangkat Chaktomuk, Khan Daun Penh

2-Riverside Park in front of Met Restaurant in Sangkat Phsar Kandal I, Khan Daun Penh

3- In Borey Peng Huoth, Boeung Sngor is located in Sangkat Niroth, Khan Chbar Ampov

4-Friendship Park near the Ministry of National Defense is located in Sangkat Mittapheap, Khan 7 Makara

5-Park against Forest-Wildlife Research and Development Institute in Sangkat Kork Khleang, Khan Sen Sok

6- Preah Neang Prachha Barami Park is located in Sangkat Chroy Changva, Khan Chroy Changva.

7. Freedom Park near Russey Keo flyover is located in Sangkat Russey Keo, Khan Russey Keo.

Competitions of 23 Sports Continue Today

Competitions of 23 types of sports continued on May 9 at the 32nd SEA Games being hosted by Cambodia from May 5 to 17 with the participation of athletes from the ASEAN member countries and Timor-Leste at different sports venues in Phnom Penh capital.

According to the Cambodian SEA Games Organising Committee (CAMSOC), those sports include Cricket, Golf, Ouk Chaktrang (Chess), Petanque, Vovinam, Athletics, Swimming, Badminton, Basketball, E-Sports, Sepak Takraw, Soft Tennis, Tennis, Field Hockey, Pencak Silat, Billard, Table Tennis, Diving, Volleyball, Gymnastic, Boxing, Kun Khmer, and Football.

Around 20 Types of Sports on Today’s Competition List

There are around 20 types of sports on the competition list of May 10, said Cambodia 2023, the official website of the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia.

Regional athletes are scheduled to compete in Cricket, Golf, Petanque, Athletics, Swimming, Badminton, Basketball, E-Sports, Sepak Takraw, Soft Tennis, Tennis, Wushu, Pencak Silat, Billard, Table Tennis, Diving, Volleyball, Boxing, Kun Khmer, Field Hockey, and Football at different sports venues in Phnom Penh capital, the source pointed out.

Four sports, including Vovinam, Ouk Chaktrang (Chess), Sailing and Triathlon, have ended their competitions early this week.

In the Medal Table as of this morning, Thailand took the lead with a total of 115 medals (40 gold, 30 silver and 45 bronze); followed by Vietnam with 124 medals (39 gold, 39 silver and 46 bronze). Host Cambodia ranked third with 117 medals in total (39 gold, 39 silver and 39 bronze), after remaining at the top list since the beginning of the games.

Cambodian athletes hoped to win more medals today, especially the gold ones.
