This investment project covers a total area of 1467 hectares in the coastal area in Sangkat Kep, Kep City and Pong Teuk Commune, Ang Kol Commune, Damnak Chang Eur District, Kep Province.
The two areas are:
- The first is 289 hectares in Sangkat Kep, Kep City and Angkoul Commune and Pong Teuk Commune, Damnak Chang Eur District, Kep Province
- The second location is 1178 hectares in Pong Teuk Commune, Damnak Chang Eur District, Kep Province

The satellite city project will include commercial centers, hotels, condominiums, residential areas, shopping malls, restaurants and service areas, as well as sacred resorts, resorts, golf courses, bungalows, accommodation areas, vacation homes, tourist centers, sports centers, parks, health care providers and other relevant service centers.

The governor of Kep province, Som Piseth, said last weekend that the company of Duke Khun Sear, which will develop the satellite city, has received a grant from the government.

"The construction of the satellite city in Kep is in line with the many development projects that have been under construction in the city, such as the park, the infrastructure, the port, the development of Tycoon Try Pheap's island project,".

Most of these satellite cities, I have seen, seem to only benefit those that live there. They really are like their own city rather than a suburb.

water will come from wells which is the way most of us get our water, there are a few reserves nearby ( secret lake) but not even enough to provide for what is already built

electricity< a joke, seldom a week goes by the power does not go off 4-5 times

and the tress will come from the mtn tops :stir:

The Cambodian government has decided to allow TP Moral Group, a private company owned by Duke Khun Sear, to invest in the construction of two satellite cities and two sacred tourist sites in Kep province.
A quick search for up-coming development projects for Kep by the TP Moral Group came up with this:

Could one of the "satellite cities" be a giant golf club ?

The Kep area infrastructure cannot support of project of this size without huge investments...and those type investments seldom fit the business model of developers in Cambodia, so...ya...
