Son Wanted a Motorbike, Burns Down Family Home

Cambodia News, (Kampong Speu): A young man, 21-year-old Khoeun Sophin, asked his mother for money to buy a motorcycle for Khmer New Year. When she refused to hand over the money, her son set fire to their family home. This shocking incident occurred in Chas village, Pech Mony commune, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province on April 9, 2023.

The inside of the house was extensively damaged by the fire and the family lost furniture, clothes, stores of food and many other items.
Local police have taken the suspect into custody.

She’s possibly done him a favour- with those thinking skills, a bike may have seen him dead in short order. All she needs to do now is give him a sound whipping.

If it weren't for the bike, it would have been for the fuel for the bike anyway.
What a pity that mothers with strong caracter are wronged by their sons.
