What's your vice? Poll.
Not wanting to make too many assumptions but I imagine many of us have a vice we indulge in to help make life somewhat easier to endure, or at least make it a bit more fun.
I understand it's possible to have more than one vice and I guess if that's the case perhaps vote for the one you're more inclined to indulge in.

For some, their vice may be religion
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

I smoke, drink occasionally every other weekend at family get togethers but usually only 5 or 6 beers.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Years ago I could have probably ticked almost every one of those categories, but now, I find it hard to define any of them as a 'vice'. Booze? A few beers once every month or two, and certainly no more 'benders' which I became accustomed to for much of my life. Pot? Never did like it. Prescription drugs? Do multi-vitamins count? Sex? My interest in it wanes with every passing year. Gambling? I could count the number of lottery tickets I've ever bought on one hand. Food? Ok I guess this is the closest I would come to a vice. I do eat a very unhealthy diet, and too much of it to boot. Pornography? See 'sex' above. Internet/Social Media? I interact on this forum more than any other web-based interaction, and the fact I only post on here a handful of times per month places it well outside the bounds of a 'vice'.
I've grown into something totally unrecognisable to my younger self. I don't know how or when it happened, but it has. However, one thing I can say is that I no longer give two shits over the fact that most would consider me very boring. Something I could never have said with honesty before.

The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never allow the dumb ones to lead the pack.

That was easy.

Gave up the cancersticks over a year ago, drink far too much beer when I'm home but booze free when at work (6-8 months of the year).

Re: What's your vice? Poll.
I drink 2 cans of beer, 1 big and 1 small, every evening at about 7pm sitting on my porch. I also eat a bag of peanuts at that time of day.
It's something I have tried to stop several times but I always get back in the groove of it after a few weeks of abstinence. The negatives are it costs me about $700 to $800 a year (which is a flight home or a weekend away). Its also the reason why I am slightly overweight. When I do stop I don't miss it after a few days. But I always go back to it. No idea why.
