Speeding Truck Misses the Bend and Kills Two People
Cambodia News (Mondulkiri): On 31 March 2023, a fatal traffic accident occurred at 15:30 hrs on National Road No. 76A in front of the 762 Security Post in Mepai village, Mondulkiri province, when a trailer-truck carrying fertilizer (Phnom Penh 3B.9826, rear trailer license plate Preah Sihanouk 4A2634) was driven with lack of caution at high speed on a windy mountain road. The truck driver missed the bend in the road, drove straight ahead and the truck overturned. No other vehicle was involved.
The driver and the passenger were killed immediately: the 36 year old driver, Soy Chum from Salang II Village, and an unidentified woman.
At present, the bodies of the two victims have been inspected by the specialized police force, and are awaiting the relatives to receive the bodies at their hometown. The truck was completely damaged.

It looks like he was climbing the road ?
Usually this happens while descending, you know, weak brakes, overload, too fast driving...but while climbing ?
