Brit and Irishman rob Pattaya cannabis shop owner.

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

Police apprehended three foreigners for allegedly robbing a Pattaya cannabis shop owner of 200,000 baht.

The owner of THC marijuana shop, Mr. Prinya Palsingh, 44, filed a complaint with Pattaya Police on March 25th, claiming his Korean business partner, Mr. Namil Kim, was attacked and robbed by two foreigners.

The two thieves allegedly stormed THC marijuana shop located on Pattaya Third Road and robbed 5,000 baht from Kim’s pocket and another 170,000 baht from the shop’s safe box. Following Palsingh’s complaint, Pattaya Police started investigating and yesterday, March 27th, they arrested three foreigners including 47-year-old Mr. Marcus P. of British nationality, 52-year-old Mr. Myung K. of Korean nationality, and 53-year-old Mr. Mark H. of Irish nationality.

Meanwhile, Pattaya police are trying to definitively link Mark with the crime to press charges on him but claim preliminary evidence pointed to his involvement.

The suspects did not speak to the Thai media and it was not immediately clear what their plea to the charges was or if they had retained the services of an attorney. All suspects are assumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of Thai law, added Pattaya Police.

The Pattaya News notes that Mr. Kim, the victim, has had an unlucky recent period as he was also shot by a Thai man at a late-night restaurant in Pattaya in late February. The suspect later pleaded guilty. You can read about that story by tapping or clicking here.

Pattaya Police stated that it was not immediately clear if the two incidents had any relation to each other.

Korean guy got shot because he was apparently an a-hole in a restaurant (not blaming the victim) but typically Thailand the shooter thought pulling a gun was a good move. But all is good: the shooter apologized to the innocent bystander that he also shot.

Thailand, the gift that gives on giving.

Please don't confuse my personality with my attitude. The former is me, the latter a reflection of you.

Yes but it physically merged with Smokey Joe's. Not really a fan.
