Man Filmed Beating Woman Motorcylist Over the Head

Post by CEOCambodiaNews »

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh) 27 March 2023: The masses on social media are reacting with rage after seeing a recent video shared online of a giant man hitting a woman motorcyclist on the head, while she was stopped at the traffic lights under the pedestrian bridge of Santhor Mok High School, Tuol Kork district.

The video shows a large man holding a helmet while arguing with a woman wearing a helmet, who was sitting on a motorcycle at the traffic light. Suddenly, the man hits the victim on the head with the helmet in his hand, until the lady’s helmet fell off onto the road.

It is not known whether the man and the victim were married, or lovers, or if they were just strangers having an argument at the traffic lights, but whatever the cause of the dispute, everyone agrees that the violence is unacceptable. Commenters on social media have asked the authorities to take legal action against the man so that he would be punished for his act .

The fact he did this in public - imagine what he does in private!

If that’s a fragment of her helmet, now lying on the road, I wonder what level of protection this demonstrates for local helmets in general?*

*I think most of us know the answer.
