Two New Investment Projects of Over US$11 Million Approved
AKP Phnom Penh, September 29, 2023 --
The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has announced the approval of two new investment projects, generating nearly 1,300 job opportunities for the locals.

According to a CDC’s press release issued yesterday afternoon, the newly-approved projects with a total investment of over US$11 million are located in the provinces of Kampong Speu and Svay Rieng.

The investments cover the manufacturing of lighting and decoration materials, it added.

The first project belongs TW Lights Co., Ltd. while the second to G.U. Industrial Co., Ltd., pointed out the same source.

Over US$53 Million Investment Projects Licensed
AKP Phnom Penh, October 18, 2023 --
The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has endorsed five investment projects with a total capital of US$53.6 million.

According to the CDC’s press release issued this afternoon, the newly approved projects are expected to create some 5,660 jobs for the locals.

Under the investments, a data centre will be established at Kampus building in Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Khan Chamkar Mon, Phnom Penh, while garment, light bulb, and solar panel factories will be created in the provinces of Takeo and Kampong Speu.

In the first nine months of this year, the CDC approved a total of 191 investment projects worth US$3,765 million, up from 150 projects in the same period last year, the council’s report pointed out.

Five top foreign investors to Cambodia were from China, Malaysia, British Virgin Islands, Singapore, and Vietnam.
