Real electric bike for just $472

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

It seems I wrote it in a way that it caused misunderstanding: The $50 are a penalty for the attempt to charge it unauthorized and does not enable charging in the future. We had a guy who tried it so desperately, that in the end he fried the electronics of 2 batteries. That got a bit more than a $50 penalty...

Very cool. Do you have a picture (or I guess you could take one, lol) of the actual battery? I'm just curious to see what we'd be swapping.

I am all for alternative energy sources to fossil fuel but am not sure electric is the way to go,
The hassles of charging, the speed one can travel, the distance one can travel + the components of the battery are no better than fossil fuel
Not to mention the cost, (Battery replacements for our sample vehicles averaged between $4,000 and $18,000) https://www.consumeraffairs.com/automot ... -cost.html
resale prices, i have heard for used electric cars, is low cause of the replacement cost of the battery

So, for me, nothing i'd consider...

Please do research, why swap systems erase close to all of the critics mentioned about electric mobility. Additionally I am talking here about a 2 wheeler, not a 4 wheeler (although Oyika is working currently on swap systems for 3W and 4W)
