Trump to be Arrested on Tuesday.

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Yeah, they are after you for falsifying tax records for paying off hookers. Watch out, you are next.

From what I understand the payment itself isn't the problem, the issue is that he did it in a way that ripped off the taxman, making it tax fraud, which will bring heat on you anywhere in the world.
Yep. They're gonna pull a 'Capone' on him.
For a rather minor, if sleazy, infraction.

Still, this should be fun to watch.

Tax fraud is a “minor infraction”? LOL

I don’t think so.

It sort of makes me think of a tow truck driver watching car loads of cops getting ready to raid the house of a drug lord. He knows the guy's illegally parked car isn't a huge deal compared to everything else the guy has done, but dammit, the fucker has been getting away with blatantly flouting the parking rules for too long, and he's going to do his job and tow the bastard's car before the cops swoop in and deal some real justice to him.

And yeah, it's going to be a show for sure. Put the beers in the fridge and let the shenanigans begin.

he will show up, the charges will be read
he will be booked, released ( granted bail) and head back to Florida
and the show begins, this is only a preview of coming attractions

A lot was learned during the Weisselberg testimony on how the Trump Organization avoided paying taxes.

What’s funny about it is that the Trump attorneys who represented Weisselberg negotiated a plea deal for him, but they are now appealing the guilty verdict against the Trump Organization because of his testimony.

From his associates to the January 6th debacle, all these individuals are doing time in prison because they wanted to please an individual who doesn’t give a shit about them, only about himself.

Trump is going to be having a busy month. I just saw an article saying he's in court again next week regarding his company's fraud charges, then again later in the month regarding the rape thing.

And then there's still all the other cases to come... trying to overthrow the election, Jan 6, stealing documents, and whatever else I've forgotten about.

The above charges seem more substantial to me than paying hush money to a porn star. They may be trickier to prosecute and so the authorities went for the easier win.

Reminds me of one of the variations of the Prisoner's Dilemma.

Not sure about these charges. While he’s ultimately responsible for the tax returns, I’d guess he just signs papers placed in front of him as opposed to instructing his accountant how to record things.

I’d also wonder the actual tax impact of the amount written off. Was it excess losses carried to future years and did he ever use the loss for actual tax savings? Or was it carried forward and not yet used?

To me this doesn’t seem significant enough to be a “gotcha” type charge. Not that it’s all roses, but rather something that’s resolved with a tax bill and some penalties instead of all this.
