Trump to be Arrested on Tuesday.

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Education and police budgets are paid municipally through property taxes. Roads are built with gasoline taxes and car tags and automobile sales tax income. Airports are built and maintained through taxes and fees on flights and the airplanes through your passenger ticket fare.

Income tax is extortion. Sales/consumer
tax is a different animal. There was a time when income tax did not exist at all - when implemented it was going to be a short term thing. Yeah right. The governments are not all that responsible with the money they seize and are very wasteful.
What? LOL. There was a time when NO taxes existed. Corporate income tax became law in 1909. Federal income tax became law in 1913. The first state to implement a sales/consumer tax was West Virginia in 1921.

If you believe that all those things I listed before are solely funded by property/sales/consumer taxes you are truly mistaken.

The FAA does receive some of its funding through the general fund, not just from passenger ticket fare.

You think the fee for the passport you have in order to travel outside the country covers all the expenses in order for it to be issued?

What is collected from the gas tax and car tags and automobile sales tax does not cover all of the maintaining of the roads and infrastructure in the states, that's why the Federal Government allocates money to the states for infrastructure. How do you think Reagan got all the states to raise the drinking age to 21? He threatened to withhold funds.

Property taxes do not cover all education and police budgets. You don't think the Federal Government allocates money to the states for education? They do. Federal grants do account for a small share of funding for state police budgets.

How about the military? Just rely on a well regulated militia to defend the country from an invasion? LOL.

What about natural disasters, hurricanes as an example, that have hit places like Florida and Louisiana. Where would the money come from to fund FEMA to help these people? Screw them, they are on their own?

If you believe that only income tax is extortion and property/sales/consumer taxes aren't, then you are just cherry picking in order to support a narrative. They are not a different animal as you claim.

Taxes are a necessary evil, whether we like them or not. I can understand why the average guy resents paying them though when you see stories like this....

www.theguardian.com/us-news/2022/oct/17 ... -committee

"The US Secret Service was made to pay as much as $1,185 a night to stay at properties belonging to former president Donald Trump, a congressional committee said on Monday as it released documents that appeared to show the former president profiting from his protection details in and out of office.

All told, the Secret Service, which is mandated by law to protect the president and his family, spent $1.4m at Trump-owned properties in the US, according to records obtained by the Democratic-led House oversight committee as part of its investigation into Trump conflicts of interest.

“The exorbitant rates charged to the Secret Service and agents’ frequent stays at Trump-owned properties raise significant concerns about the former president’s self-dealing and may have resulted in a taxpayer-funded windfall for former president Trump’s struggling businesses,” the committee chair, the New York representative Carolyn Maloney, said in a statement."

.... a president can give big tax breaks to his billionaire mates and family, brag about how he pays little or no tax himself, and take weekly golf trips to his hotel to prop up his failing business by overcharging the secret service who have to stay in his hotel. And normal, everyday working people pay for it all through their taxes. Then he whines about how unfair it is when he's caught cheating the taxman and he shouldn't be held accountable like everyone else would be if caught doing the same thing.

And you say he's draining the swamp?

Just out of interest, where did previous presidents' from Dem or Rep parties agents stay? Just curious whether this is a Donald only thing or it's a common practice, using hotels run by them or their buddies

He may need the extra votes.

Will hopefully throw off the deep-states trickery this time.

Trump / DeSantis 2024

Make America great again.
Cause it sucks now.
While I agree with you 100%, I think only fools expect meaningful change and a government looking after the majority from ANY party. You wuz robbed long ago, and it's not stopping anytime soon.

Education, healthcare, COL, energy, throwing tax money away to various undeserving and criminal countries, it's what both sides do

Well Trump did stay a significant amount of time at the “Winter White House”. Never known of a POTUS
who spent so much time away from D.C., especially at a self-owned resort.

What’s interesting is about the Secret Service Agents with him now, are the American taxpayers still footing the $1K+ per night for accommodations to stay at his resort?

Yes, he cares about the American people. He’s a self-dealing tax cheat.

That tweet sounds eerily similar to posts on this forum by meth heads claiming the government is out to get them. Wild claims of persecution and targeting their friends are all part of this persecution complex. Radom capitalisation (shouting?) and quotation marks underscore the deranged and moronic nature of the writer.

Putin and Xi Jinping must be laughing their heads off and musing whether America can be so stupid and elect him again.
Spoiler:
Yes, they can.

The funny part of this tweet is the fact that Weisselberg gave a very detailed description of his fraud, which was first detailed by another employee at the grand jury proceedings. So I'm not sure how he was "railroaded". And the judge in a case does not offer a "plea deal", they only accept it or reject it when brought before them. The plea deal was actually arranged by the Trump lawyers who were representing Weisselberg. What an ass clown.

Question.

If its hush money, when does she get arrested and charged with extortion?

LOL, Michael Cohen, Trump’s lawyer, approached her with the offer. She didn’t attempt to blackmail anyone. Next.

So he randomly went around offering money to everyone from his past private life? Sounds a bit unlikely.
