Rip off tales

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Laos is nice (for about three days) but you had better brush up on your Chinese if you intend to stay. The country is poised to fail on debt repayment for the railway the Chinese built.

Considering you lived in Vietnam, you do not really know what not to do, right? Saying the above to a xe om driver is a great way to get a good hiding.

What a dickhead.

Fuck this place. Its full of Johnny Travellers wandering around. Plus all these hideous white women in skimpy tops and hot pants. Someone needs to tell these women you can only wear clothes like that if you got it going on. Otherwise do yourself a flavor and dress modestly.

I also saw the fattest person I have ever seen. White dude. He was so huge I almost asked him for a photograph.

Fuck knows how he got himself here. He must have come by cargo ship. No way he's fitting on a plane.

He was HUGE.
Huh? Grab works all across Asia. Or are you too tight to roam?
You know that tingly little feeling you get when you really like someone? That's common sense leaving your body.

I'm still trying to get my head round the fact that someone might be so scared of a scrawny old xe om driver (and his buddies) they wouldn't have the cojones to question a fare ten times the price it should be.

Ha ha ha
