Dear Tourists
You guys are really good at getting your phones ripped from your hands by motorbike thieves when you walk around with your phone out at arm's length using it like a compass to get around in Cambodia.
If you're going to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Phnom Penh, just be a bit wise about using your phone around there and step away from the street where you can't be so easily got at by thieves.
Just saw a young lady have her things taken from her around there at high speed with tourists on the other side of the street with their phones out begging to be robbed.
This is not the first time I've seen this around there and I know it won't be the last.
Also, leave your passport etc at the hotel

If you enjoy noise pollution and obnoxious driving practices, Phnom Penh is the place for you!
This.
This.
Re: Dear Tourists
My last phone was a second-hand Samsung. It was once owned by someone from Korea because there are dates in the calendar that cant be removed.
I have always wondered how the phone shop acquired it, I doubt it was part exchanged by a Korean tourist making an upgrade.

Re: Dear Tourists
I walk around for years in Phnom Penh with my so lovely yellow nokia 3310:
never ever had problems with it,
they even brought it back to me when i forget it in a restaurant . . .
