Cambodia News, (Sihanoukville): Preliminary news: A Sihanoukville police spokesman has told the press that a Chinese man fell to his death from the Laiju Hotel in Village 3, District 2, Sihanoukville,at around noon today, March 17, 2020.

The investigation is on-going, as it has not yet been determined if the fall was due to an accident, a suicide, or if it is a case of murder. A statement will be made by police officials once the investigation has been completed. Sihanouk province police have temporarily detained some witnesses that are still being questioned, including Chinese and Khmer people.

My money is on the latter. Big mess, guaranteed death and any struggle injuries could be part of the fall. By the time the police arrive the perps can be outside with the rest of the crowd taking pictures.

This is the second incident of this type in two days.
On 17 March, a Chinese man fell to his death from a Sihanoukville hotel room. Two days later, today, on 19 March, another Chinese man was found dead following a "fall" from another Sihanoukville hotel.

Vannak / Sihanoukville: Another Chinese man died after falling from a hotel in Sihanoukville, the second case this week.
The new case happened at the LZ Hotel in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, at 9 am on March 19, 2023.

The body was autopsied as a first step and transported to the morgue of the Sihanoukville Provincial Referral Hospital, awaiting the decision of the Embassy in Cambodia.

According to the competent authorities, this is the second case of this kind this week, after the fatal fall of a Chinese man occurred at the La Jos Hotel in Village 3, Sangkat 2, Sihanoukville on March 17, 2023.

In both cases, the authorities have already conducted an autopsy as a first step, and an investigation will be opened to determine the cause of the two deaths, in order to provide justice to the families of the victims. V / N

The suspicious part of me has the notion that the competent authorities will find these to unconnected (due to being different locations) quite quickly.

Where are all the CCTV recordings of the comings and goings in these hotels?

How hard can it be to go through them and see who went in and out of the victim's rooms? Unless they were accidentally (on purpose) switched off for the day. Then it would be the perfect crime.

With all the jumpers all the buildings taller X should have them cameras on the roof. You could well divide the deaths into suicides or murders.

Cambodia News, (Sihanoukville) : In the third event of this kind in one week, Sihanoukville authorities have reported that a Chinese man jumped from a high-rise building in Sihanoukville's Sangkat 3 at around 4pm, on 20 March 2023.
Police say that when they were told that a man appeared to be preparing to jump, they attempted to intervene at the building, but they were too late. The man jumped from a balcony and died on impact.
