Cambodian Friendship Jump. AIRBORNE !!

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Cambodian Friendship Jump. AIRBORNE !!

Post by CaptainCanuck »

Attention all international military paratroopers past and present !!
A Friendship Jump is being hosted by the Cambodian SF May/June 2023.
There’s are only 15 positions left on the manifest so time is of the essence.

The trip will include:
2 static line helicopter jumps
Weapons firing
Visits to facilities of interest
Transportation, meals and accommodations
Cost should be in the $1050US mark dependent on the current volatile cost of fuel.

Get some time under silk and rub shoulders with your brothers of the Maroon Beret.

Any military jumper interested can send me a message and I’ll put you in contact with the organizer .... please note, I am just a participant and any nitty gritty questions should be directed to the organizer, he is a great guy and responds promptly.

Gentle winds & soft landings
AIRBORNE !!

This is going to be an awesome post, I can see all the "Retired" Green Berets, Commandos & SAS guys commenting on this one from their barstools on riverside guesthouses.

I think I will pass on this opportunity and keep my dollars.

These days I would require a G12 64 foot cargo parachute.
Unlike when I was slim, taught and terrific and had black hair and doing HALOs from 19,000 feet.

But good luck to those still jumping in late/er life.

Can I be part of the ground troops that open fire on those paratroopers? How much will that be?

That abbreviation has many meanings and I hate assumptions so elaborate please.

If you're interested in getting on the manifest and can prove you're a qualified military jumper send me a private message.

Cheers

You might want to add some of the chinese skydivers and show them the advantages of jumping WITH a parachute.
