Thai King's Daughter made army major general.

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. A lot of expats have both lived and worked in Cambodia and Thailand, and this area is a place to discuss all aspects of life in Thailand and what's going on there. Most topics are about Bangkok and Pattaya because of their larger populations of expatriates and tourists in those cities, but this is for all things Thai.

She will never reach the rank of Foo Foo though.

Thai Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya has been appointed as a specialist in the royal Thai Army with the rank of Major General, according to the royal Gazette website.

King Maha Vajiralongkorn on Friday announced the appointment of his 36-year-old daughter in the latest round of military promotions that will be effective from April 1.

The princess graduated with a master’s in design from École de la Chambre Syndicale de la couture Parisienne in Paris and become a fashion designer with her own brand “Sirivannavari.”

Happens with or without royals. Instead, it would be the son/daughter of a long-standing prime minister

If you mean the local fellow, he at least has military training and graduated the finest academy. Not really comparable to a poodle being made an air marshal, no matter how you swing it.

The worst thing about the poodle is that he was probably the most competent ACM the country has ever had.
