Thai King's Daughter made army major general.

Thailand is Cambodia's neighbor to the West, and this forum is dedicated to Thai news, stories, reviews, blogs, videos, Thai people and anything else related to the country. If you mean the local fellow, he at least has military training and graduated the finest academy. Not really comparable to a poodle being made an air marshal, no matter how you swing it.
I wasn't limiting to Cambodia, happens in many countries, especially ASEAN,

Obviously the local fellow is clearly the best man for the job, and if he wasn't the son of the current fellow he would still be in the same position as he is. Absolutely no nepotism to be seen here
