I often wonder what are the point of these visits. The UK was here a few weeks ago, now the Indians with their coast guard ship.
Cambodia is firmly in China's orbit, China and India are not friends, nor are the UK and China. Why do either think that showing up in an insignificant little tub, and posing for photos in glaring white uniforms, is anything but a complete waste of time and fuel? Cambodia has little to no geopolitical power or influence so why bother showing up?
Can anyone explain it?

I'm surprised that this Indian ship didn't sink on its long journey; hopefully it's been stitched together with more care than a typical Indian-tailored suit.

It shows that Cambodia is still happy to host visits from other countries without them instantly being zapped by the ginormous evil invisible Chinese bases.Doc67 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 10:22 am I often wonder what are the point of these visits. The British ship circles the area stopping off occasionally here.

Are they joking? Do they mean the raw sewage being pumped out into the sea near the coast?CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 2:29 am
