Romano's Italian Pizza in pp Is a fucking Scam!

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Why cant they change a 100 note If the Bill is 10usd? Maybe thats why i got a fake note!? Poor fuckers!

And now i not in to the hooker shit!

I dont like mushrooms and syfilis and hiv

If thats your thing its okey!
There's no excuse for a business being unable to change a $100.

It's 2023, not 1973

When I ran my place we would routinely change any bill denomination. Open for business: have a decent float. It's unprofessional to be otherwise, especially in a place like this restaurant where bills will usually be from $20-50
You think this place has a regular clientele that spends $20-$50 per sitting? There’s not many small Cambodian restaurants like this that would be able to accept a $100 note for a $10 tab.

And who in there mind would want 360,000 riel in 10,000 and 1,000 notes.

Yes, a business should have change for its clientele

No excuse for not being set up to deal with customers

I have no idea why in 2023 a business, a specialty restaurant in an affluent area of Phnom Penh couldn't make change for their clients. Totally absurd, especially given its location by Nagaworld with ample money changers literally all around

You’re still in Cambodia. And if someone is expecting a small business like that to change a $100 note on a $10 tab for the sole intention of breaking that $100 for smaller notes, well.

And I personally wouldn’t consider that area affluent.

Well what? Should shops not take a $10 note for a 90c item on the same premise??

$100 are common as muck here and I will always expect a business to have change. If they don't they best find some lol

Well, look at what happened to the OP. Yes they are common, so are $20’s and $10’s. And you don’t know the situation, it could be that they already had five (5) customers before the OP who swapped out $100 notes for their $10 tabs just to break it.

I've ran a business in PP for years, been in that situation many times. Not difficult to keep change on hand

It's a great problem to have, be far worse if nobody was spending hundys

It is their business, I have been their before, and from what I understand they have been there for awhile. So I’m sure they are doing just fine not breaking everyone’s $100 notes.

I could not give a fuck if you have been there or not, it's not relevant

In any case I'll be wary of their waitress switching my $100 for ghost money when I pay my bill there next

LOL, and I don’t think anyone cares if you ran a business or not, and I’m sure they could care less of your opinion of what they should or shouldn’t do.

You needn’t worry. They’re plenty honest, and quite amenable to helping. All of this debate is based on an accusation made by an op who is somewhat absent and provided only the familair tale of woe with what I feel is a bit of distraction.
