Cambodia News, (Kampong Speu Province): Bhikkhu Heng Savon, Chief Bishop of Wat Phnom Kampoul Pich, has agreed to leave Wat Damnak Trach, Kampong Speu province at 8:30am on 4 March, in accordance with the Dharma Discipline of Preah Samma Samput.

On the morning of March 3, 2023, Bhikkhu Heng Savon was summoned by Rev. Nou Chin, Phnom Sruoch District Sub-Committee and monk Saing Soeun to come to confess and accept his mistakes.

Please be reminded that the chief abbot of Wat Phnom Kampoul Pich, was seen driving a luxury car at night in Phnom Penh without thinking of his position as a priest. Furthermore, the monk was photographed dressed in civilan clothing in front of the Naga Entertainment Center in Phnom Penh, and faced with the evidence, he admited his faults.

The Rev. Nou Chin said: " A monk should not be like this! Casinos at night, wearing clothes, driving to visit Phnom Penh! ”
