ROBBERY WARNING IN SIEM REAP!!!
Hello! I want to warn about 3 guys driving around on a Honda Click in Siem Reap! 27/2 a guy from London was beaten and robbed by these guys! they broke the bone of the nose and got a hard blow to the head! they took his wallet took the money and threw the wallet at him and gave him the finger! 40 minutes ago it was my turn to be robbed but I managed to get away easily! got a hard blow to the temple! ran after them but couldn't catch up!
ROBBERY WARNING IN SIEM REAP!!!
have lived in asia for 6 years and never experienced anything like this!
there are guaranteed to be cameras where this happened!
should one report or act in some way?
ideas?

Where in siem reap did these happen? And definitely report as it will keep happening until there are enough reports or they accidentally kill someone.

Victim blaming is strong here.
Re: ROBBERY WARNING IN SIEM REAP!!!
they took his wallet took the money and threw the wallet at him and gave him the finger!
Hmm, (1) why take out the contents and return the wallet with your fingerprints on it? (2) How many Khmers have you ever seen giving people "the finger"? (3) That's a very detailed account of someone who's been hit in the head and had their nose broken.
This is not passing the sniff test.

It happened and happens also phone s and bags not strapped down in bicycle baskets.. Most of the time it's young groups of punks from out side area..Doc67 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:17 amthey took his wallet took the money and threw the wallet at him and gave him the finger!

Sure, the cops would catch them in no time using their giant database, or test it for DNA.

1 - no thief wants a wallet/bag, just the cash, and no cop shop will dust fingerprints from a wallet after a robbery - what do you think this is an episode of CSI Miami?Doc67 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 10:17 amthey took his wallet took the money and threw the wallet at him and gave him the finger!

2 - I have seen shitloads of Khmer people giving the finger, and idk about you but I tend to remember important details clearly, especially when there's high emotion of any kind involved
And it is exactly the sort of thing that can happen to naive young people late in the evening on Soksan road, Siam Reap
