Cambodian-American Man Sought in Phnom Penh Murder Case
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): A Cambodian man from the United States, known only as Moulnet, 63, is accused of killing his wife because of jealousy, at 10 am on the 24th In February 2023, in Chak Chrouk village, Khan Por Sen Chey, Phnom Penh. The deceased woman, Keo Srey Mom, 32, was working in a beauty salon and living in Cambodia with their daughter while her husband was away.
The couple's daughter is reported to be a witness to her mother's murder. According to the young girl, her father had been living in the United States and she did not know him when he came to Cambodia. Then, suddenly, at 7:30 this morning, he rode a motorcycle up to the house and started a fight with the girl's mother and beat her until she lost consciousness. He then packed up some things into a suitcase and left on his motorbike. The girl ran out to call the neighbors for help, but there was no one to help her, and the killer escaped.
Currently, an autopsy has been performed and the authorities are searching for the husband as the prime suspect in this murder case.

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At 11:30 am on February 24, 2023, at a flat in Chak Chrouk village, Sangkat Samrong Krom, Khan Po Senchey, Phnom Penh, Keo Sreymom, a 38-year-old woman was beaten, electrocuted, and killed. The victim was from Pursat province and ran a beauty salon at her home.
Latest news reports say that the husband of the victim tried to remove the body from the scene by stuffing it into a suitcase, but he was unsuccessful, and he panicked and drove away on his motorbike. He has still not been apprehended by police.
The body of the deceased woman has been sent to her family in Pursat for funeral rites. There is a nationwide police alert to track down and detain the woman's husband on charges of murder.

I knew the victim and the accused; they used have a salon and a shop behind psar teuk thlaa near the phum 100 pteah behind Toyota dealership when my family lived there. My partner used get her hair done by the victim and we went to their shop to change the 20l water bottles every other day for years, she's friends with my wife's family. Cambodia Breaking News, (Phnom Penh): According to a senior official of the National Police General Commission, a 68-year-old Cambodian-American expat who stabbed his wife to death in Borey KC, Chak Chrouk Village, Samrong Krom Sangkat Po Sen Chey district was arrested by the authorities on the Cambodian-Thai border, on the afternoon of February 25, 2023.

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): On 25 February, Cambodian border police arrested 68-year-old Moulnet, a Cambodian-American man, who was wanted for the murder of his wife, Keo Srey Mom, 38, on the morning of February 24.
The Khmer-American suspect had fled from the scene of the crime in Phnom Penh to the Thai border, where he was attempting to cross into Thailand and presumably escape further afield, when he was apprehended by Cambodian and Thai officials.

UPDATE: Fugitive Arrested Fleeing to Bangkok
Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): According information from the Cambodian National Police, the Criminal Police Department led by Brigadier General Hun Mony Rath, arrested the Cambodian-American murder suspect 70-year-old Moulnet in Thailand, while he was making his way to Bangkok by taxi from the Cambodian border.
The Cambodian-American man is accused of strangling and suffocating his 38-year-old wife to death, during an argument at their home in Chak Chrouk, Sangkat Samrong Krom, Khan Por Senchey, Phnom Penh, on February 24, 2023 at 10:30 am. After the murder of his wife, the fugitive then escaped to Poipet, where he crossed the border into Thailand at the Poipet International Border Gate, and took a taxi for Bangkok. It is believed that he was heading for an international airport or border in an attempt to escape the police.

The wanted man was finally apprehended on 25 February on the road to Bangkok, by Cambodian forces on the orders of His Excellency General Neth Savoeun, National Police Commissioner, with the full assistance and cooperation of the Thai police forces.
Currently, the specialized Cambodian officers have brought the suspect to the Criminal Police Department for questioning and handed him over to the Phnom Penh Municipal Police authorities.
