I remember to see a big sign on 130 street "FREE BEER", between 5 and 13-street !! ??
I thaught it was to good to be through and didnt go in, it was the pre-opening advertisement from Poneytail-bar. TWO days later in Sharkeys i saw Packo and he invited me: you want to come to my new bar, we open today officialy: Poneytail. They were giving free beer for a couple of days just to get the customers in and let know the place. Fortunally, at the opening, the beer was also free, hahaha.. I had a very nice evening overthere, picked up a nice girl (who stayed with me for "some" time) and still am customer overthere, my prefered watering-hole. And it started with a "FREE BEER" sign . . .

Shenanigans had a free beer opening. It was great
