Khmer times joke of the day

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Khmer times joke of the day

Post by phuketrichard »

"China has vowed to help Cambodia crack down on human trafficking, combat drug-related crimes, telecom fraud and illegal cross-border gambling in order to promote the strengthening of bilateral ties."

:stir:
It's just..., that all these mentioned problems STARTED with the influx of the Chinese Mafia...(especially in Sihanoukville), teaming up with Hun Sens corrupt cronies...!

sorta like the fox helping to round up the chickens
In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST

Well, that's good news Richard.

Reading between the lines it says that China will block Chinese citizens from travelling to Cambodia.

All good. :thumb:

Reading between those lines, the Chinese will no doubt also be enabled to listen more…

King urges citizens to exercise their right to vote in upcoming National Election
So Cheata / Khmer Times

King Norodom Sihamoni called on all citizens to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming National Election in July.

The King urged the citizens to vote according to their conscience in order to elect a leader for development in all the sectors of the country.

The King’s appeal to the residents to vote in the 7th National Assembly Election to be held on July 23 was made public today.

“I would like to call on all Cambodians who have the right to vote to go to the polls and elect the country’s leaders for the development and prosperity of all sectors,” the royal message read.

The King called the national election as a free, fair, and just in accordance with the principles of liberal, multi-party democracy.

“Therefore, do not worry about oppression, threats or intimidation from anyone or any party,” the message added.

King Sihamoni said the residents to vote freely for any candidate, any political party that their conscience ask them to do with full confidence.

Meanwhile, the National Election Committee (NEC) has vowed close cooperation with the government on maintaining security and public order ahead of the election.
