Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): Don't try it. The expression "not enough room to swing a cat" took on a whole new life when a Cambodian comedian, Neay Kroeun, was seen swinging a cat on a leash on a local TV comedy show.

A major faux pas on the part of Neay Kroeun, the sketch was supposed to be a funny gag, but it didn't get many laughs. Instead, his audience protested loudly about the cruelty to the cat, and outraged social media commenters chimed in to criticize the comedian after his actions were reposted on the internet.

If the cat had been in a harness perhaps it would have been funny, as it transpired, I agree with previous poster, would have thought it was so funny if he experienced the same thing?

In my circle the phase "can't swing a cat" and "can't swing a dead cat" are synonymous. Thank Buddha the the moron does know the phase "can't swing a dead cat".
