Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): An allegedly drunk man, driving a LT-K-KEO plated black Jeep, hit a Range Rover from behind, pushing it into another car, causing damage to all three cars, at 9:40 pm Monday, February 6, 2023, along Monivong Blvd, in front of the Vietnamese Embassy in Tonle Bassac, Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh.

According to sources at the scene, the man was seen driving a black Jeep (with license plate LT-K-KEO) traveling from south to north on Monivong, when it crashed into a white Range Rover( with license plate Phnom Penh 2AH-6633) from behind, causing the rear bumper to fall off. At the same time, the Range Rover crashed into a red car (with the license plate Kampong Thom 2A-4219), also causing some rear damage.
No one was injured in the accident, and only the two vehicles were slightly damaged.

However, following this incident, the driver of the Jeep made a big scene and became agressive, refusing to accept any blame for the accident, and drunkenly shouting at the bystanders, the media, and the local police.

As the main party in the dispute was estimated to be too drunk, and was unwilling to make a settlement on the spot, the local authorities contacted the traffic police of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police to take the three vehicles away and store them at the station, ready to settle negotiations for compensation at a later time.
