GARY GLITTER

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

Since the glitter has washed away, it's more like Gary Gitter now
Any room for a new disco act in the surroundings clubs ? I bet he'll work his splits ^^

The worst Cambodia expat ever as far as giving this place a shitty reputation goes.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

Wonder if he’ll go to the Philippines
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

I'd be surprised if he's able to leave the country, but if he is I'd hope him going somewhere like the Philippines would raise red flags everywhere and he'd be refused entry on arrival.

Definetely beware of westerners with a krama. Especially the old smiling ones.
Seems he will carry a GPS tag anyway.

And... he's back inside.

He broke his bail conditions, apparently trying to access the "darkweb" on his mobile phone.

As an expat living in Cambodia, I have mixed views on the dirty nonce.

Cambodia was a haven for nonces long before he came along. The fact that he moved here, and as such, bought a lot of media attention to the place, highlighting fact that it was a haven for nonces, he forced the government and NGO's to take much firmer action. Nobody wants their country to have that sort of reputation globally. I'm not saying the problem has gone away entirely, or that Cambodia's reputation has been totally restored, but things are much better now than they were before he decided to shine a light on the place, so in a strange twist of irony, he actually did Cambodia a favour.

But of course, he's no different to any other nonce. Several years behind bars clearly hasn't changed him, as his return to His Majesty's pleasure has now shown. These people are incapable of changing. I don't believe in the death penalty for any reason, but I don't see how anyone can say that the world is just as safe a place with him outside of prison as it is with him inside.

We are in the process of sending those who wish to claim asylum in the UK to countries such as Rwanda, so that we don't have to deal with them ourselves. Not entirely sure why we can't strike up a deal with other countries to take our nonces. Countries that are not legally bound to the same human rights laws as we are, whose prisoners are aware for every one of their waking minutes of just where they are and how cruel life can be when you're just as vulnerable as the victims they preyed upon.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never allow the dumb ones to lead the pack.
