RIP Barrett Strong

He only ever sang on big hit as far as I know, Money (that’s what I want), but he wrote plenty of hits including Papa was a Rollin’ Stone, I heard it through the grapevine and War.

Barrret Strong died aged 81.

Heard it through the grapevine would be one of my desert island discs and the full length version of Papa was a rolling stone is a masterpiece
