Hanoi Air Quality

Post by Doc67 »

I am mulling the idea of a trip to Hanoi. I looked at the weather forecasts and it looks much cooler than here (good) but a quick look at the Air Quality Index shows it to have some of the worst air quality in the world.

Is this true, and if so, how bad is it?

I've had some pretty bad air in Hanoi on previous visits, definitely not fun at times. Sad really, because it's otherwise such a great place to visit.

With AQ that high, I am keeping well away. It's expensive enough to get there without choking upon arrival.

I can answer that. Only online visa available for 30 days and it take 3 to 5 days before you get the confirmation.
