According to the authorities, the husband had been suffering from a mental illness for some time, and was taking medication every day until the evening of the incident, when he and his wife had a violent argument. The man then seized a metal staplegun and struck his wife on the head. She fell to the floor in a pool of blood.

When the couple's children came home and saw their mother lying there bleeding, they called for the police and an emergency ambulance. Unfortunately, by the time that the medical team arrived, the doctors could only confirm that the woman was already dead and there was nothing they could do.
