Banana Seller Tracks Down Phone Thief

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): At 11:30 am on January 25, 2023, at a phone shop in Phsar Klang Romsev Thmei market, Sangkat Teuk Laok 3, Khan Toul Kork, a well-dressed thief was busted after he stole an iPhone with iCloud tracking.

According to the victim, who was selling bananas at the market, the dapper-looking suspect came and bought some bananas from her, but then she left her phone on the table while she was busy selling bananas to her other customers. The thief quickly took advantage of her inattention to steal her phone and escape.

However, the woman tracked her iphone down using the tracking device, and she came accross the thief trying to flog it off in a nearby phone shop at the market. The man was immediately surrounded and taken into custody by the banana seller and her friends, who took him to the police station to be arrested and charged with theft.
