Re: Manhunt After Nagaworld Casino Pawnbroker Murdered and Robbed
very unclear what happened currently
- got stabbed in a nagaworld toilet/bathroom
- $600K missing, but no information who originally took/stole it and stolen from where???; from reports it looks she took it and then got stabbed afterwards? during handover? by that guy? bf? crime partner? both?
- can't be right? I mean they wouldn't allow one person to supervise that amount of cash, no? (assuming she was responsible for internal cash transportation?)
I don't believe the original story with the money coming out of a pawnshop, makes no sense. otherwise maybe drug related money (nothing to do with naga).

Why not?
Formal and informal pawnbrokers are drawn toward Nagaworld like flies to a fresh pile of shit. They have a steady supply of gambling addicts to exploit 24/7/365

She is quoted as the owner, so it may well be her own lack of tight security procedures that has brought about the crime. For the avoidance of doubt, I am not victim blaming. It is just a common human trait to eventually normalise what would usually be very abnormal.chriz_PP wrote: ↑Thu Jan 19, 2023 11:49 am very unclear what happened currently

If your boss sends you to the bank to pay in $50,000 in cash, the first time would rack your nerves. If you do it every day it will quickly become just another errand (until one day you wake up with a crowd around you and a big lump on your head).

I'm just really unsure about it as she was stabbed in the toilet and not her shop, but no info on if she was robbed that time or if the killer got the key and.then stole the cash.
well we ultimately know nothing, as usual (except of that the money is 'lost' permanently)

@chriz_PP I don't think the money is the goal here. You seem to have misidentified the key takeaway. Not about money, but that a human was murdered in cold blood in a public place, with holidaying families and security gantries. The sum total is always bungled up by all parties here so I won't be hung up on reported figures.
The toilet could also have been in her store, or the toilet could have a safe, or he needed to pee. Among other possibilities...
Also, come to think of it, I'd be happy if they just got the name of the victim right. Which is never a given even.
Hope her killer faces the other no-named business associates of her company. Would be a fairer outcome than the lethargic hand of lady justice.

- happened in a public bathroom on first floor of nagaworld
- get your point but if 600k are missing I reckon it's fair to assume it's about the Benjamins (just my personal view on this of course)
anyway hope they get that scumbag (not too high expectations though)

Re: Manhunt After Nagaworld Casino Pawnbroker Murdered and Robbed
And nobody finds anything fishy that a potentially ex-scorned husband who happens to work in an anti-gambling crime department, presumably with access to gambling criminals, had an ex-wife murdered in a casino? What are the chances of that ... quick, better put out a consilatory FB post.
