Garbage Collector Dies in Accidental Fall

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): On January 18, 2023, at 6:30 pm on St. 217 in Khva village, Khan Dongkor, Phnom Penh, a garbage collector was killed in a freak accident while he was working, when he fell off a moving dumpster truck.
The victim was a 26-year-old man, Heurn Sokhouy, an employee of CINTRI (now partnered with Everbright, China) garbage collection company, from Prey Veng province.

The body of the victim was examined and given to the family for the funeral. The truck was taken to the police station for further proceedings and examination.

UPDATE: The man was asleep when he fell off the truck.

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): At 6:40am, on January 18, 2023, along Street 217, Dangkor District, Hoeun Sok Houy, 26 years old, a garbage collector at Cintri Company, fell off the truck when returning from a night's work. It is reported that he had fallen asleep while sitting on the back of the truck after working all night.
The victim fell on to the road while the truck was moving and hit his head. He died at the scene.

After the incident, the Dangkor Administrative Police Station, in cooperation with the Dangkor District Traffic Police, arrived at the scene and contacted Cintri company, who paid some money to the family of the deceased to take him to a pagoda and conduct funeral rites.

Total accident, feel bad for the crew that was with him as I'm sure they'll be questioned about it. These dudes work hard, remember Chinese new year is coming up, toss em each a 10k riel note.
