I've not done it but if I was doing that trip, I would reckon to be doing well if I paid $100, probably $120 is fair.

Camboticket.com quotes $140. So I would think $120-$140 is the rate.

Thanks for all the replies. In the end I decide it wasn't worth paying that much so I took a minivan. Got a careful driver and it ended up being a comfortable trip

When you're in Poipet check the taxis that stay around the circle by Lucky 369 casino just down from the border crossing and 200 meters from Holiday Village. In Phnom Penh the taxis to everywhere are typically off Phsar Thmei, st 120, the diagonal Rd headed towards Monivong. I paid $20-$50 for a shared ride in a nicer SUV during the second year of COVID. Sometimes it was just me and the driver.

It's true you can get taxis (shared and private) to all destinations from the streets around the new market in PP but for some destinations there is a better option with more cars using. For all points up NR5, that place is beyond the underside of the Japanese bridge. For NR3 it is Daemkor market. For NR6 it is the roundabout just before you cross the Japanese bridge. For NR1 it is Chbar Ampow, just after the bridge.
