Classified docs in Bidens office

Yeah, that place out 'there'. Anything not really Cambodia related should go here.

They've appointed a special counsel to look into it.

It'll probably turn out to be essentially nothing but it's still politically embarrassing for Biden, talk about shit timing. I would have assumed the first thing he and every living ex-president did after the Trump episode would be to quietly check their own offices etc to see if there was anything they overlooked.

This is hilarious. At first, it was a bunch of docs that could have been mixed up with stuff at Biden old office in the Penn Biden Centre.
But now, with a new batch being found in his garage at home the response from the right is going to be unrelenting while the left are going to struggle to spin this after what they said about Trumps docs.

Given the story about Trumps docs died due to nothing serious being found it will be interesting to see if anything serious was amongst the docs in Biden possession.

This.

Do these people not think or behave like normal people?
Or maybe it was just Biden and his team that didn’t?

Interesting timing on the release of this info. It was discovered just before the midterm elections but not made public till now?

Yeah well at the very least it's a major embarrassment, Joe has more egg on his face than ever before.

More embarrassing than this? :hattip:

Meum est propositum in taberna mori,
ut sint Guinness proxima morientis ori.
tunc cantabunt letius angelorum chori:
"Sit Deus propitius huic potatori."

There is no evidence that in Biden’s case there was a violation of the espionage act. Evidently Biden requested documents from the Archives for a book he was writing. Standard operating behavior. The National Archives sent documents. He wrote the book and when a staffer packed up the documents to return they missed a few. When they were found they were immediately returned. A far cry from stealing thousands of documents and refusing to return them, refusing to comply with a subpoena, claiming they belonged to him and necessitating a search warrant and still not returning everything. NARA says there are still missing documents.

Intent matters. Obstruction of justice matters, theft with the intention to keep matters. Biden’s was closer to an overdue library book the the cleaning woman put in the wrong place. 8-)

After I looked into the story this was my take on it as well.
BUT
It does look extremely bad and considering what the Dems said about the docs Trump had in his possession it does beg the question "One would have thought the current POTUS would have gotten his house in order, and double checked his own records"
