Cambodia News, (Pursat Province): Ta Lo Administrative Police Forces in Pursat received a report by telephone, at 11:17pm on January 6, 2023, from villagers reporting a case of gang violence, where a man was being chopped by some youths with a machete. The 23-year-old man, Chon Dalin, was attacked while attending a wedding party in Ta Lo village, Talo Senchey District, Pursat Province.

After receiving the phone call, Colonel Ul Hay, Ta Ko Sen Chey District Police Inspector, ordered his forces to go to the house of the suspect named Davat, a 22-year-old man living in Tuol Thmor village, Ta Lo commune. The police arrested the suspect and confiscated a machete.

After a professional interrogation, the suspect confessed to the police that he had three accomplices who had all made an appointment to attack the victim at the wedding venue. The suspect said that the group had previously had a conflict with the victim, so they took a machete and cut his left arm, causing serious injuries.

The other members of his gang then fled the scene on a motorcycle. The suspect admitted to police that he and his accomplices had previously stolen people's motorcycles and used drugs.
As for the other three suspects, the police are still looking to arrest them.
