It's been good thanks for the help but I'm out of here.

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Yes, so why the discussion around Thailand? AFAIK atst isn't moving from Thailand to Cambodia. I'll stand corrected if not the case tho.
That’s the million $ question. It’s been my experience on here that whenever talking about life in Cambodia, someone usually brings Thailand up as a comparison.

He's been living there for ages AFAIK. I don't really know what this thread is about in the first place. Is he leaving? Is he leaving CEO? If so, making a big statement of leaving is a bit Rossiesque. If you don't want to look or contribute, then don't. It doesn't need a big drama statement.

That's why the thread has "derailed", it had no clear rails to follow in the first place.

In fairness, it's not quite clear what this thread was meant to be and it can benefit from any derailment it can get. A farewell to CEO despite staying in Cambodia, but why?

It’s a little like faking your own death, and then turning up to your own funeral in disguise, to see who pisses on the grave first, etc.

However, I do like some of what he’s (bloke wot isn’t ere no more) done with the property.

Well, atst posted just before 8 pm Thursday "I'm out of here" and it's now after 3 pm Friday so I guess he really is "out of here," past tense. Still a bit of a mystery though. In other words, I like rails as much as anyone but I do recall atst was rarely a man of many words. Goodbye and good luck atst.
