It's been good thanks for the help but I'm out of here.

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Because nothing compares to Thailand. Everything is better over there: the girls, the beer, even the dictatorship.

Thanks for the offer when my passive income of $1500 a week runs out and my two bar girls I'm living with stop licking my balls and sucking my old fella I'll look you up.

Probably not worth the effort; he doesn't sound like a suitable replacement.

All due respect Darkcell. The licky/sucky gig is for the birds.

tried Cambodia 3 times now,
2008/09 10 months
2014 3 months
2021/22 1 7months

I found Cambodia life is not for me even though the wife is at home there
May I ask why it's not?
Why not?
To nosy, to much trash everywhere, Chaotic traffic & disregard for traffic laws, Cambodians total lack of respect to anyone, everyone and everything
Access to better beaches, better food at better prices
Most of all; for me;;;Quality of life

To each their own

yea thai beer sucks when you compare it to Burma, German, Laos, Japan & Mexican for sure :-)

I agree with all you say but isn't Thailand way more expensive? I presume you're talking about Bangkok.

I can see your point atst, as a country boy the green countryside never gets out of your system so there is much more pleasure in watching the rice grow rather than the insults grow on a forum. Love the pics you posted.

That's a two way street. Of course they won't respect someone who despises them and belittles them at every opportunity.

To nosy,
What? :?

I'm in Kamala, phuket ( where i had lived since 96) and 80% of the things i buy here, are cheaper than when i lived in Kep an shopping in Kampot & PP

ur joking or just trying to get a rise out of me which you enjoy>

They dont respect each other, not referring to me..... did u see i said ANYONE
when they turn there karaoke on at 7 am and sing till they pass out or take their huge speakers to the beach, it is not aimed exclusively at me

and how is trashing the countryside & roads aimed at me??
