Lobsters and crabs are everywhere, you can't claim them as being American just because you put a place name with them.

Clam chowder is just soup and done better in many parts of the world (especially France).

As for American pizza, unless you want one the size of a truck tyre, with two kilos of plastic cheese on it and that needs two people to carry it, then I wouldn't be hailing that as American haute cuisine.

Md Blue crabs ( in My opinion) are far superior to crabs i have eaten anywhere else
and MD crab cakes are sooo good

Thai food works for me, here in Bangkok I usually have Thai food for lunch and then something else for dinner. Variety is the spice of life.

That being said, I would say the same about the local food in most countries I've been to. I don't really get why some people are excited about Thai food, most of it is alright but hardly inspired. And some of the best or most popular Thai dishes aren't really Thai anyway, but ripped off from elsewhere.
