one day i Bangkok
Pretend you are one day in Bangkok and never again, what would you do?
Money can't buy happiness but it can buy beer
Re: one day i Bangkok
Don't waste any time sightseeing, get laid 3-4 times.

Lets pretend one day is all the time you have and you don't have a penis. Sorry to be needy.

Definitely enjoy the street food.
Take a boat across the river to Wat Arun.
Take a boat back, then walk down Khao San road and take photos of backpackers.
Skytrain back to the airport.
Buy more street food outside the airport.

Re: one day i Bangkok
if money does not matter:
arrive early morning at airport, RR service to Oriental Bangkok and enjoy breafast buffet
private city tour including temples, markets, street food, shopping
hang out the afternoon at the pool with some umbrella drinks
have a nice massage before a dinner cruise on the Chao Praya river
enjoy BKK nightlife (without a penis), BKK serves all tastes

Re: one day i Bangkok
Go to Wat Traimit by tuktuk and visit
Walk around Chinatown a bit.
End up at a river water "taxi" pier
Take a boat to Tah Tien pier.
Visit Wat Bo.
Walk to Sanam Chai MRT.
Return to base.
In the evening, see a movie at Central World cinema, buy First Class tickets (includes plenty of canapes and v. good seats).
If staying overnight, get a high room at the Bayoke Sky, includes a free pass to the 84th floor revolving observation deck. Book on their website, cheaper than the OTAs. Avoid breakfast if you don't enjoy crowds.

Re: one day i Bangkok
Good suggestions so far. Since it's just one-two days I want to stay in the center of good stuff. Not a big city person which is why I'm asking.

Re: one day i Bangkok
Being serious, there's some great museums in Bangkok, I'd probably check a few of those, maybe fit in one or two of the more quirky malls, a park and a wander around Chinatown for food and nighttime pictures
