Advice needed - family member in royal gendarm since Xmas day, no contact or response. Desperate for news Mr John Green.

If you have something so weird, strange or off-topic to post and think it doesn't belong in any other forum; you're probably right. Please put all your gormless, half-baked, inane, glaikit ideas in here. This might also be a place where we throw threads that appear elsewhere that don't belong ANYWHERE end up, instead of having to flush them. FORUM RULES STILL APPLY.

Advice needed - family member in royal gendarm since Xmas day, no contact or response. Desperate for news Mr John Green.

We cant get through to the R.G centre but theyve allowed his dog to be with him.
His apartment was robbed and this is not drug related - he has a child there.
We cant find out any info at all, we have bail but not sure what/how much/who to pay.

No word for 4 days despite frequent attempts for info.
Our family is desperate and we need any advice we can get. There is no new coverage about the robbery and we dont know where to turn.
His name is John Green and he is a good man & a devoted Father.

How do we ensure his safety?

Any advice is welcomed - our senior family are becoming ill with worry.

With gratitude

J Oliver-green..

Sorry if this seems a little cold, but if anyone is going to try to help you then you need to explain:
Who has given you the information you have so far?
If his apartment was robbed then why is he the one apparently in custody?
If he has a child here, is there a Cambodian mother or any Cambodian family?
What was he doing in Cambodia, does he have an employer here?
What nationality is he and what has his Embassy said?
And finally, any further info relating to the "R.G.Centre" and why they are involved rather than the local police?

in addition;
if you have not been in contact, how do you know he is locked up? Never heard of anyone being locked if they are robbed and an ur dog is allowed with you>

what exactly did he tell you when you last spoke?
possibly, ( not guaranteed ) give an address /Tel and someone in PP can check for you

For sure CALL ur embassy, if he has been locked up, they would have been notified an if not you can give them whatever info you have an they will run it down>

An alternative read of this is that since he’s been locked up/detained, his apartment has been robbed.

The embassy seems the most appropriate option, in this case, just to get some clarification of whereabouts, charges, etc.

I don’t know how the RG function, really, but if his apartment has been robbed subsequent to his detention, is this related? Even legally related?

The initial post is such a mess, with no real timeline; just a duration. Someone needs to take a breath, and write it again, objectively.

BUT:
if he was locked up, (with his dog), how would he know (or the op), that his apt was robbed??

plus if their is a child, where is he ( she) ?
is there a mom ?

Call EMBASSSY, posting here is a waste of time, but would love update, as you opened the box

Are you certain he's locked up? Why would he have his dog? Think logically for a second, have you ever heard of anyone anywhere in the world getting thrown in jail with their pet dog?

Was looking on Google for any news on a robbery or arrest. Interesting, but I can't access TOF

Signs up on CEO shortly after midnight
Posts a single, slightly garbled, post
Not seen again in ensuing conversation, 6 hours later

My pinch-of-salt meter is pegged at maximum, currently.

If the OP (father?) Was in UK, for example, then the time of the post would have just before bedtime and now he would be asleep and been sleeping during the 6 hours you refer to.

I see TOF has background to this arrest.
