Cambodia News (Battambang Province): On December 23, 2022, at 11:00 am, police raided Balat village, Norea commune, Sangkae district, Battambang province, where they rounded up eight smalltime drug dealers and arrested them.
The suspects are:
- Sun Sreyneang called Achi, a 23-year-old woman from Balat village, Norea commune, Sangkae district, Battambang
- Sok Veasna called Hong, a 17-year-old boy from Trang village/commune, Thmokol district, Battambang
- Ti Matang, a 23-year-old man from Kontout village, Sangkat Kdol Donteav, Battambang
- Sour Sanet, a 17-year-old boy from Thkov village, Sangkat Kdol Donteav, Battambang
- Long Lita, a 20-year-old woman from Toul Lavea village, Odombong 2 commune, Sangkae district, Battambang
- Tieb Sokunthea, a 19-year-old woman from Otakom 2 village, Sangkat Toul Ta Ek, Battambang
- Khob Phally, an 18-year-old woman from Tangaen village, Takream commune, Banan district, Battambang
- Nan Nat, an 18-year-old woman from Takorm village, Peam Ek commune, Ek Phnom district, Battambang

The evidence seized: 3 bags of methamphetamine weighing 310g, 15 capsules of WY pills weighing 140g, drug tools, 1 scale, 7 cellphones, 2 AK47 magazines, 2 shells of AK47, and 1 AK47 extension.
The suspects and the evidence were held in custody for further investigation.
