Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: A couple caused a surprise at 11 pm on December 22, 2022, near the flyover at Monivong Blvd in Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Khan Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh, when a conflict between a husband and his wife turned into a dispute with the online journalists who turned up to film them.


According to sources close to the wife, before the incident, she was spying on her husband when she saw him go into a KTV along National Road 1, Chbar Ampov district, Phnom Penh. While the husband was having fun at the KTV, the wife went in to surprise him, and there was a dispute in the street outside the karaoke. Then, suddenly, there were online journalists who turned up to take pictures and were filming the couple as they argued in public.

When they saw that the journalists were filming their quarrel, the couple turned on the reporters and ran after them, forbidding them to take their pictures and use them to advertise their shame. But the reporters were still filming, so the couple drove after the journalist until near the flyover, where the conflict occurred between the jounalist and the couple.

Meanwhile, the online journalist said that before the incident, he had received information that there was a dispute outside a KTV, so he went out to take pictures, but when he was filming, suddenly the couple turned on him, cursing him, and chasing him until the flyover, where they used violence against him.

Later, the husband offered to pay $ 20 compensation to the reporter, but the reporter refused to accept, so he agreed to file a complaint at Chbar Ampov II police station to wait for legal action later.
