Re: Korean Man Injured in Expressway Collision with Cement Mixer
The latest report on this accident confirms that the car drove directly into the rear of the cement mixer truck, instead of changing lanes to pass. The accident scenario seems to indicate that the truck was not easily visible from behind, and it is possible that may not have had any working rear lights. (Cambodian trucks are unfortunately notorious for bad maintenance standards.)
Was the cement-mixer truck crawling along the expressway slow lane in the dark when it was hit from behind ?
Cambodia News, (Kampong Speu): According to the Kampong Speu Provincial Police, a Highlander car with a Cambodian driver, carrying a Korean tourist, crashed into the back of a cement truck on Wednesday night, at 21:46 on the expressway between km 53-54 at Trapeang Kraloeng village, Kampong Speu Province. The two men in the Highlander were seriously injured in the accident.
