Electric Fire Destroys Grandma's Pagoda Home

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh) On 19 December 2022,at 6:00am, a fire broke out in the house of a grandmother who is living in Chak Angre Krom pagoda, located at Sangkat Chak Angre Krom, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.

According to the police, the fire, which was started by an electrical short circuit, burned 2 adjoining rooms made of wood. Fortunately, there was no danger to the people there. The fire was completely extinguished by 6:30am by the two fire trucks sent by the Phnom Penh Municipal Police.

As for the damaged materials,many basic items were burnt in the fire, such as beds, mosquito nets, blankets, dishes, but no important material goods.
