Mas Ravit, male, 20 years old, injured leg,
Sin Po Kim, Male, 20 years old, injured left leg and left hip,
Sroeun Sopheak, Male, 22 years old, Occupation: Carrier, injured left leg,
Kheang Ly Keang, Male, 22 years old, injured elbow.

Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): When a group of delivery drivers chased down and attacked two men on a motorcycle, a man who was sitting in a restaurant near the scene pulled out a gun and fired several shots to disperse the attackers, but instead of fleeing , they attempted to rush the gunman, who then fired at their legs and shot four of them.

This shocking incident happened at 1 am on December 12, 2022 in front of a shop with a pig's nose along Monivong Blvd, Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Khan Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh.

According to the victims, who were chased and attacked by the gang of delivery drivers, the two of them initially had a verbal dispute with the group, who then chased them all along Route 271 from west to east. Then at the scene of the shooting, the motorcycles stopped, and the gang threw stones at the two other men and went to attack them with a knife.

An eye-witness said that suddenly an unknown man, who was sitting by the street eating at the night restaurant, pulled out a gun and fired a shot in the air to disperse the group. But the gangsters showed no fear, and instead they rounded on the man with the gun, who then fired several shots at the group, injuring four people in the legs. The gunman left the scene immediately.

Later, military police arrived at the scene to collect the ammunition and take statements from witnesses, and meanwhile the injured men were taken to hospital with minor gunshot wounds.
