Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): Teachers at HE Mondulkiri High School have been protesting, because they are dissatisfied with the management of HE High School and the selection of the new Deputy Director, Mr Bun Panha.

The staff of HE Mondulkiri High School informed His Excellency Dr. Minister Metta that after the transfer of Deputy Director Kem Channara to the Technical School, the principal elected a new Deputy Director without consulting the staff or any election.
Mr. Bun Panha is not the head of the joint technical team and also not the head of the subject technical team. On the other hand, Mr. Bun Panha, is a party affiliated with the principal, always causes problems for the school.

Teachers say that Mr. Bun Panha constantly abuses the students in many ways, and that he openly discrimates against and punishes the indigenous students and those from poor families.
- He fines students for every absence from school
- He threatens students physically and makes them cry
- He will make new rules to collect fines from students, sometimes up to 10,000 riel
- Collecting student money every Saturday or punishing the students

Plea from the teachers of HE High School, Mondulkiri to the Minister
All staff of HE High School, Mondulkiri, do not agree with this selection for the well-being of the whole school, as well as for all the students who are poor, and who to come to study with equality, transparency and justice.
Please, His Excellency Dr. Minister Metta, kindly intervene by appointing professional officers to coordinate the election of the new Deputy Director of Administration in accordance with the procedures, with the participation of all high school staff and announce the results in person.

Khuth Phu, principal of HE Mondulkiri High School, could not be reached for comment.

Now these are educators, not like this greedy rat of a "principal"

Props to these teachers, I pray the parents back them up and they don't have any repercussions
