Although she had already been married to John McVie several years, her debut solo album was released in 1970 under her maiden name Christine Perfect not long before officially joining Fleetwood Mac.

Christine perfect or Christine McVie: great singer, great songwriter.

Spare a thought for Peter Green also: great singer, great songwriter, great great guitarist, and without him, no Fleetwood Mac.

RIP to Christine McVie, I'd reckon that both McVie' s and Mick would submit that Fleetwood Mac was a shadow of a band compared to the post Nicks and Buckingham years.
